Lots of attention to detail. Very clean, and stylized to give you a feel of Victorian England. It is located in one of the best places in all of Stavanger with easy walking distance to most everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice, historic hotel. Great location, nice bar, wonderful breakfast. Our only issue was that the room was hot, with no way to cool. The thermostat seemed to be totally unresponsive and an open window invited either very loud (in spite of high quality earplugs) street noise and music (weekends) or construction noise (weekdays). Made it really difficult to sleep comfortably.

Main areas look good, and Salon du Nord is great, however the hotel and the sleep experience was not great as the walls are thin, especially bathroom so you will hear your neighbours. Quality/level of pictures of room in booking did not match the level of the room.
