Convenient and clean choice for a short stay
Very quick 2 day/1 night trip. Was close to the Natural History Museum and V&A, which is what I needed. Also direct Tube route to St Pancras Eurostar station (20min). South Kensington area also within walking distance. Hotel is convenient and clean, but could use a little refresh with the carpets and furniture (sofas and chairs). Room had a bathtub, which was nice to unwind after a day on the town. I was just a little surprised that the room did not have a safe. I had to hide my valuables hoping it would be fine. Since it was just one night I did not ask to change rooms, but I would ask otherwise. Bed was very comfy and the room quiet. Could not hear any noise from other rooms or the hotel. Wifi had decent strength for social media and email, youtube, but the strongest signal were an additional charge ( I did not need so went with the free option). TV however had a limited number of channels, which could have been a pb for a longer stay. This hotel is immense; there may be better /refurbished rooms in other parts of the hotel, but could not say. The check-in staff was very nice and even gave me a free drink voucher because the check in took longer that usual. I also liked the traditional English pub inside the hotel; always a must when visiting England. Again, for one night, I was satisfied with the convenience and cleanliness/comfort, but would not make this a home for a longer stay.

Stay away
bad experience. Had to switch 3 rooms: first one smelled out of cigarettes, in the second the heating didn't work and in the third the water pressure (17th floor) was slow. Hotel needs renovation, beds and chairs all very old and dirty. WiFi was not available for galaxy device (Galaxy s6), they acknowledge the problem but did nothing with it. just gave me a code that doesn't work as well. dont go there, waste of money. 30 min on train to city center

Reasonably Priced Stay in London
The staff...especially the concierges...was absolutely amazing here. They were so friendly and helpful. The location was a mere block from the underground which was great as well. This is a very large hotel so it is what you would expect in a Holiday Inn: adequate rooms and somewhat small bathrooms both of which were adequately equipped, clean and comfortable. Again, I cannot say enough about the location!! Three mornings we stayed we had their included breakfast buffet which was huge and included many offerings that were tasty. There were also restaurants attached to the hotel for other meals.

Busy hotel with convenient location
This is a large hotel which obviously attracts many groups. It was very conveniently located a block from the metro station, and there are restaurants in and around the area. Our executive king size room actually had a queen size bed, which was a disappointment. Other than that, the room was a decent size for Europe. It came with access to the executive lounge which offered some breakfast items, drinks, and some evening canapes. The breakfast selection was not great, and the staff in the lounge area was not very pleasant, although all other staff were great. While they have free wifi, there is an option to upgrade to a faster one. When we arrived, late at night, the desk person told us to sign up for the faster speed and he would cancel the charge. Of course, when we checked out, they knew nothing about this and we had to have a long discussion before they finally removed the charge. Overall, stay was pleasant and we would stay here again.

Holiday Inn Kensington Forum, August 2016
I've stayed here several times, and have always been pleased with it. This time I noticed that the rooms are getting a little tired and could use a renovation. The bed wasn't comfortable and seemed like it was the cheapest mattress they could find, the bedding was very low quality, and the pillows were flat as a pancake. Otherwise, the rooms are clean, and the rest of the hotel is still in great shape and the staff is still friendly and efficient. The location is excellent for transportation, food, sightseeing and shopping.
