Need to talk via phone after stay but no answer.
The hotel can do better with the quality of the food and the room cleaning service.. I have been trying to contact the hotel via phone with NO LUCK!.. I left something in the safety box which is likely still there as it is a pen that is hidden in one of the sides of the safety box.. any help by you will be appreciated..

Not a hotel for leisure travelers
This hotel exists for business/conventions. If you're traveling for leisure, they really don't seem to want your business. Although my friends and I, well dressed, well behaved professionals, spent a total of 12 nights (two rooms x 6 nights) at this hotel, since we were never attired in business suits we were treated with what could best be described as distaste. Hotel itself is noisy and not relaxing at all. The rooms are inundated with street noise, the lobby is inundated with loud music, not a place you want to gather over coffee planning your day. The breakfast room was little better, seemingly situated almost in the street, not a place to linger. Breakfast was okay, although by 9:00am the dishes often looked tired and in need of replenishment/replacement. There was a sports bar off the lobby, in which the music was so blaring loud that in six nights I never saw a single customer therein. The hotel's location is good, the wifi worked fine, the beds were a little hard but workable, and the rooms were cleaned promptly and well (although quite stingy with soap, it seems). Hotel has a decent gym in the basement. Plenty of money changers around which is handy, and emerald shops in the hotel in the passageway to the breakfast room that looked reputable. Christian at the front desk was very helpful in finding me a somewhat quieter room, the street side room I was originally given being uninhabitable.

Enjoyed my stay
The hotel is old and could use some renovation, especially the hallways which are dark and a little dank. The room however was excellent and comfortable. A small fridge was a nice touch. There is plenty to do nearby including restaurants, bars, nightlife, and Monserrate is a doable walk away. Front desk was very friendly and helpful; breakfast was fantastic.
