Pleasant but need a few changes..
The sliding glass door to the balcony was extremely dirty, they did come to clean, wasn’t sparkling boy ok, the housekeeping staff forgot to leave us face towels 2 days in a row, the lamps, tissue holder, etc. needed dusting...overall it was a nice trip will stay again, bellman King was very helpful and pleasant.

There was only 3 towels in the room and there was 4 of us. One of the towels had a hole in it. For a 4 star rating hotel, you would expect better. Location is great since its near attractions, quieter than it would be on Bourbon St. I'm sure they'd br accommodating if I told them the issue, but I don't think it should have been a problem to begin with.

I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I needed to with this experience. I booked our hotel several months ago for the concert in the area. I originally booked two queen beds. We arrived at the hotel and waited in line for the valet for about 30 minutes, meanwhile I am getting yelled at for blocking the street because the valet was so backed up. Once we dropped our car off we walked inside to people scattered all around the lobby and one woman yelling because she had been there since 2pm and it was now 4pm and she still didn't have a room. I waited in line and was told it would be 30 minutes before a room became available. We waited an hour, still no room. I went to check again. Another 30 minutes. By this time it was about 6pm and we needed to go to the concert. We had to change in the hotel lobby, along with about 50+ other people and do our makeup out there too. Right before we left for the concert our room was ready and we had a king size room instead of the two queens we requested. Earlier we were told if we got a king size room, we would get our room faster. That did not happen. Check in time is supposed to be at 3pm. We booked this hotel for its fantastic reviews; it was a horrible experience. We didn't receive an apology, we didn't receive any sort of compensation. It was so disappointing and made a really fun weekend into a stressful one. Save yourself the trouble and book another hotel. Events happen in New Orleans all the time, how could they not be prepared.
