    Poor 2.0
    One word: abhorrent.
I am appalled at both the hygiene of the Hyatt as well as the incompetent management. We booked 2 rooms; 5 and 2 nights, respectively. I am gold status with Hotels.com and have never dealt with this level of managerial disregard for guest well-being. On the second night of our 2-night stay, we noticed tiny feces or bugs on the sheets. Disgusted, we called guest services to have our sheets changed. When the gentleman came, he stripped the bed (throwing the sheets right beside my Briggs and Riley suitcase no less), and we noticed the same pepper-like objects on the mattress. At this point, we asked to speak to the manager. This was now 12:30am and we were exhausted from a busy day. The manager came and inspected the mattesss. He told us it wasn’t bed bugs (we didn’t think they were) and then said “guests leave the patio door open and critters get in”. That was it!!! It was the fault of previous guests. No apology, no responsibility to CLEAN the room; just that other guests cause this and that is that. We changed rooms to one down the hall, and left the next day. We were never offered an apology (but they did take the resort fee off our room). I called yesterday to further discuss the issue and was promised a return call. I have NOT heard from the Hyatt. I am still owed an apology. I have now spent the past 2 days cleaning and throwing away items from our trip. I am infuriated with the Hyatt, their lack of cleanliness and complete disregard for our health. Do NOT stay here!

    Very Good 8.0
Mostly 5 Star, 4.5 overall. Great for Family
Great Hotel. Let me start out with a quick shout to how good it is! Worth every bit of the $200-250 (if you book far enough in advance) but still worth it if you don't book in advance - up to $300 a night. The food is also top notch. Service quite good. CELIAC Families - LOTS and LOTS of option!!! Great place if you need (or just prefer) to eat Gluten Free. No one ever said no, and everyone smiled and said hello. Very family friendly, other families were easy going people (mostly parents/grand parents). Tennis instructors were AWESOME! OK... to be fair - I Marked down 4/5 on comfort and cleanliness due to hallway carpets and microwave areas that could be kept cleaner. I know, hallway carpeting is tough (and expensive to replace) but it just looks bad. Also, the pool needs attention during the day. Several times there were branches, leaves, and other stuff (food?) floating and/or on the bottom. There are lots of kids running around, dropping stuff, so having just one person do a sweep every hour would put it over the top. That's not to say it ever felt dirty - everything is very clean - I'm just picky and with all the kids... a bit more pickup duty is required. Otherwise, this place is fantastic! Very family friendly. For a family of 4, Plan on $50-80 for breakfast and $100 for lunch (with alcohol) and $100 to $200 for dinner (with alcohol) depending.

    Good 6.0
    Snobby staff.
The room was really nice. But, i don’t understand why there were no trash liners in the trash cans and the covers on the beds were very thin. Also, when we came back to the room our room was always serviced, but it was cold each time we came back into it. The pool was also very cold. It was not warm at all. However, the pool was very neat and clean and it was the main reason we booked this hotel. However, the staff are very reserved and never smile. The staff made it feel like it was not a very friendly atmosphere bc when we first got to the hotel the gentleman who took our luggage passed us off to another person after he was tipped. If we knew this we would have never tipped him. He was also unkind to my mother when she asked him where a store was. It seemed like he was to good to give her directions and I really felt he looked down on her too. And, not once during our entire stay were we greeted or told a friendly hello. I felt the staff cared more for the fancy wedding party guests who were there the first two nights we were there than the other guests. I also felt judged too bc everyone at this hotel seemed very stuck up. I did not like the atmosphere at all. We paid a lot of money for this hotel. I would like a warm happy atmosphere that is laid back. I did not interpret this here. Also, it was nice physically but the building does feel a bit dated and not as grand as the pictures on the website too. Finally, the staff at the bar are rude and I wasn’t drinking either.

    Good 6.0
Not worth the price of a 5 star hotel.
Room was dusty w/dirty countertops. Lightbulb in lamp was broken plus lamp did not work. It is Obvious maids don't check. I had to call front desk to have room conditioned. All they did was pledge it down but never cleaned fridge area and or other. I asked for room to be vacuumed and that did not happened either. Engeneering came up to change the lamp with broken bulb. Only nice thing was our view so We made the most of it. Beds were hard and small- Very uncomfortable shower and tiny sink that splattered water everywhere. Lighting was also dull. Only thing worth it was pool area and canoe rental pond. Here they charge you for everything with IMPOSED Hotel resort fees plus $20.00 parking which is ridiculous as the Same is far away- Long walk. Grounds are kept clean and beautiful -unlike your room- but front desk service staff was nice. Please DO NOT EAT at Hemingway's Restaurant. It is overpriced and not worth it for there are many other great restaurants around town- just 5 min. drive away. Service here was horrible. Definitely not 5 star but they charge you as if they were. What a joke! We ask for their "world famous" crab cakes-Not impressed. I've had better. Not worth $40.00 and Their "Ceviche" was POKE styled NOT CEVICHE. I almost return it. Rissotto rice tasted like it was made with dirt water and seating in front of the kitchen felt so cafeteria style section -besides over priced- They do not cater to accomodate guests plus the service with attitude was a Never Again.

    Good 6.0
The property was beautiful, and rooms were nice no doubt about it. I had the pool view, I paid extra for. I did see fireworks the one night at 9, which lasted 3 minutes. That beautiful pool was too cold to even put your feet in. Such a shame. The hot tub was ok, used once and not very big. Round trip shuttle to/from airport $74. Got tickets to universal at hotel $300 for 2 people for 1 day, had to pay extra for mears shuttle round trip to take us. Next day was Disney and shuttle was included for same $300. However, we took shuttle to magic kingdom, then had to get on monorail to parking, where it poured while we were in line, then a bus to take us to Animal Kingdom. Spent an hour and a half before even going to park. On way home, waited for 2nd magic kingdom bus, monarail not working, took ferry to parking lot 10pm bus. It was cold. Btw, the bus doesn't wait. It's 6, 8, or 10 sharp. At hotel, we didn't even use pool, boats, rock climbing or exercise room, which was pretty far away, next to hot tub. In hindsight, would have stayed at hotel closer to parks (almost 1/2 hour ride by shuttle) and one that included airport pickup. Between all the extras, it would have been more convenient time wise and valued out financially. Ate at Hemingway's, which was good - expensive $100 for 2-1 drink, no dessert, lake house dinner $100, no drinks, 2desserts/1app, bkft $50! Food was very good. Not the trip I hoped. At least I didn't have to pay to park car ea. day.
