Fantastic hotel in a nice area of Rome. Just a few blocks from Piazza del Popolo and the Flaminio subway station. The place used to be a convent and has been remodeled into a cool, beautiful space. The rooms are comfortable, colorful decorated and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Would love to come back if I happen to return to Rome!

Great place in Rome!
Perfect stay. Near Piazza del Popolo, so easy walk everywhere you want to go in Centro or Prati. Near streetcar line and a couple metro stops, although I used neither. Bed--great. Sheets weren't the highest quality, but fine. I slept really well during my entire stay. Room--great. High ceilings, great windows, blackout shutters that can let you sleep till noon if you aren't careful. Bathroom--great. Very good shower, good large soft towels. Service--great. Very friendly, helpful whenever I asked for something. Staff English was usually much better than my Italian. Which isn't saying much but was helpful. :) There is still some construction going on, so it will be a different feeling place in a few weeks/months. Only possible negative is that my room on the first floor ) could be too noisy for some people. Lot of street noise, lot of streetcar noise. It didn't bother me (see blackout shutters above) and I slept really well. Highly recommended hotel.

Similar to other reviews of Hotel Etico, this is a fairly new hotel so all the furnishings are practically brand new. The room and bathroom is spacious and the hotel is not far from the metro and bus stop. The service was amazing and all the staff were happy to help with any request. Breakfast area was still under construction when we stayed so we got the croissants and coffee as well but this did not bother us as we wanted to try the local cuisine. As stated in other reviews it can noisy in the morning as you are next to Main Street. Overall a very pleasant stay and happily recommend.

Excellent hotel, good location
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Flaminio tube in a quiet part of Rome. The hotel staff were professional and friendly and whilst the hotel is limited in terms of facilities, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. I would strongly recommend this hotel as a base to explore Rome however if you are looking for a hotel in which to spend time and use the facilities, this is possibly not the best choice. I would certainly stay there on my next trip to Rome.

Very Good 8.0
Top place thats not expensive.
Excellent accommodation and staff very helpful. Would stay there again. Only fault was the noise from traffic. I would suggest investing in ear plugs !!!! We had our own and slept soundly in the large comfortable bed. I appreciate the management cannot control the noise level. Though the weather was warm it would have been nice to be able to control the thermostat in our room. Overall we would recommend this hotel with its closeness to public transport and Piazza (5 min walk).
