Best SF hotel for New Year’s Eve
We stayed there in New Year’s Eve to enjoy the fireworks and it was an amazing experience. The rooms are beautiful and if you get a bay view one, you get to see the beautiful bay bridge and a slice of the iconic SF skyline. It’s 2022 and staffing affected everywhere including this famous hotel and so that was obvious mostly in the restaurant area but not in the bar or cafe. They really seemed to be doing their best! The Christmas and new year’s decorations were fantastic, a large tree, a huge curricular art figure on top of a water fall type fountain area and with lovely miniature landmark buildings from around the world. We were able to walk to the Embarcadero and watch the fireworks which was quite a breathtaking experience with so many amazing patterns lighting the backdrop of the bay bridge.

Always love staying here! Best place to stay for NYE and watch the fireworks steps away from the hotel. Also, great customer service. Kudos to Roger at Eclipse Restaurant! He was helpful especially dinning with a toddler!

All around great experience!
We arrived here after staying at a 5 star hotel up the street and found the Hyatt to be superior to that experience on every level. The check in was quick and early. The room was clean and practical and the staff was totally on top of everything and friendly. Great team here and real value for money. There was also really beautiful Christmas decoration and nice fitness center open 24/7. Wouldn’t have changed a thing. We highly recommend this hotel!!
