Nice but parking- ugh
It was very nice, would come back. Our only gripe is the parking, $70, plus all of the fees. And we lost our ticket for the valet, we told the front desk person when we checked in and he said not to worry, it will be on our room, when we went to check out and get our car, no one knew anything about it as it wasn’t in with our names or room number. After much haggling, they finally found it, that wasn’t worth $70 if you ask me!! They acted a bit rude about it, so just a heads up on that.

Start of Road trip
The hotel was beautiful. However the online images are deceptive. We booked a CITY BRIDGE VIEW. And received no view of the bridge. For $400 a night you would think they would give you what you paid for. Everything else was nice. Valet etc very easy and accessible. The elevators were cool too.

Good but expensive
OVERALL: Would stay here again if money were no object. PROS: Right on the Embarcadero, great views of bay and Bay Bridge, impressive open interior, most staff were friendly and helpful. CONS: Expensive even by SF standards. Cavernous interior bounces sound around; I could hear conversations in the lobby from the 7th floor hallway. One set of elevators means a long walk to some rooms on other side of building. Room itself was average and lacked a coffee maker and fridge, with beautiful bay view only visible when standing in front of the window because of the odd room shape. My room was also next to a construction zone (renovating rooms) and the machinery on the other side of my wall got quite loud on Monday morning.
