Our stay
We loved staying at Park Hyatt! Everyone was beyond friendly and accommodating. The only “complaint” would be the wood work in the room is nice, but very banged up-either needs to be fixed or replaced. The cost of room service was way above what I have ever paid-a banana, bowl of strawberries and toaste was $35. Beyond that we had a lovely time and would for sure go back, but not order room service.

Our little city getaway was great. The front desk staff was great and even brought Parker (the hotel’s pug) out For my daughter to meet.

Just OK
Just ok, I have stayed in a lot of Hotels downtown Chicago, but this one is just ok. If you want to stay in this area go across the street and stay in Peninsula

Very Good8.0
Not the quietest hotel
I will preface that we were there on New Year's Eve. The hotel is beautiful, staff wonderful. However our neighbors were as loud as could be at 4am- shouting obscenities and arguing which could be heard in our room and in the hall with no problem, and it lasted for the better part of 40 min. We were scared- didn't want to make a scene and risk them coming after us! Not sure if security was called or they just left on their own, but it all stopped suddenly close to 5am, and the rest of our stay was pleasant. For such an upscale hotel, I was surprised this would occur--Chalking it up to New Year's Eve.

Be in the hick of Chicago!
Wonderful staff, close to everything, great room, and although I had paid for lake view and did not get one - they refunded me with bonus. We had a great stay.
