Great place to stay
Comfortable room, great shower head pressure and great location on the river walk. Enjoyed smoking a cigar on the second level above the outdoor eating area.

Incredible
I could not have ask for a better stay. My wife and I were on the Riverwalk and we were within walking distance to The Alamo. We also took the time for a Segway tour of the city, which I highly recommend.

Not a Good Experience
Very disappointed in the hotel considering the price paid for a one night stay. The hotel has a very confusing layout with no signs directing you; took forever to find the sky pool which turned out to be very cloudy and reeked of chlorine. They leave bottled water in your room to 'Quench your Thirst' so we figured it was complimentary but after reading the label's fine print, discovered you had to be a part of their rewards program or pay $3, that's just not right...a customer is a customer no matter if they give you their web address or not. The sheer curtains were torn, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable; had 4 pillows, two so soft they had no support and the other 2 were so hard you couldn't sleep on them. The decorative picture in the bathroom was filthy, the lamp on the desk didn't work, the AC didn't keep the temperature that we set and there was a lot of road noise even though we were 4 flights up. And after all that and paying $250, we end up with a parking garage view. It was disappointing because it looked like such a nice place and since it was so expensive, I expected to walk away with a great experience. It's in the perfect location so I guess that's why they can charge what they do for a mediocre establishment...it's true what they say; location, location, location.
