A bit disappointed
My daughters and I had a nice time at the B Ocean Resort. The staff there could not have been any friendlier . From check in , to the staff at the Clipper market, to the cleaning staff…all were above and beyond. This was the highlight and saving grace for this hotel. I opted for the upgraded room w a balcony that was sent to me by email promotion. This room has an entrance that was in a section that appeared like a dingy old motel. Upon entering the room it was just ok. The view from the balcony that is attached could only be seen when standing up. When I sat on the no frills cement balcony I could not see past the beat up railing wall. The noise of the AC unit roared in my ear on the balcony so that I cld not sit there unless I turned it off. This was not what I thought I was upgrading to . The paper thin walls allowed us to hear loud yelling and slamming until late at night . The pool area that was more desired (beach side) was overcrowded and filled with loud kids. We could not get a seat. The second pool was not nice to say the least. We opted for the beach, which was amazing with great service . Loved the beach chairs included. Overall our trip was nice and we enjoyed ourselves but I would not spend the $1500 for three nights ever again for accommodations like this.
