Given the money I spent GBP 1,700 (2 nights) I expected slightly more modern appeal. Room was sombre. Only one remote TV control worked. Breakfast items were not removed all day and we had to request they be removed when we returned. I left a shirt in the cupboard and returned the next day to collect, I was informed it was never found.....very disappointed. We left and went to the Haymarket Hotel.

Trip to London
Check in was smooth and easy. The room would be what would be referred to as the standard, but comfortable. Next day after house cleaning had come, there were a couple of issues (perhaps minor issues) which we let the hotel know about. These issues were rectified immediately; making our stay that much more enjoyable.

Will not stay here again
We went during Easter - the hotel was super busy. Luggages were not brought up after we checked in - i had to go down myself and bring them up myself. I had my toddler with me so to go down to the ground floor (which is really weird as its not reception level) we had to take two lifts - which by the way had to wait 15 mins since it was very slow and there were a lof of people. Ended up taking the stairs several times - and had to go up and down seven floors with a pram and toddler so this was definitely not convenient. Our room carpet was very very dirty needed a good vacuum and wash. Had to remove my toddler from crawling or sitting on the floor. Other than that - breakfast was good but not hygenic - firstly you had to go early as if you go after 8.30am you had to wait in a long long queue and there were so many people to grab breakfast touching the same bread as bread was not cut beforehand- opening and closing the hot trays yourself where peoples hair could have gone in too. So they should really improve structure. Location was good though. Would not stay again.

Really lovely stay here with my husband. Breakfast was very nice. Only thing I would comment on is there appeared to be damp in our room on the ceiling and the paint was flaking off onto the table below.
