The only downside was having to pay for an expensive breakfast. Wish it was included.

Grand place indeed
The limousine bus from Narita Airport arrived at the door and we were met by a staff with a cart. Upon check in, he showed us to the room, unload our bags and told us how to get wi-fi. This is a classic property. Beautifully decorated spacious lobby, attentive staff, extremely quiet and quick elevators and nice restaurants (we ate breakfasts at the one in lobby and a dinner in another). Our room and bathroom was very clean and we had the choice of Japanese kimono or nightgown for sleeping. Bath robes and clean slippers were provided as well. After visiting Kochi and Kyoto, we returned for four more nights. They held our suitcases while we were gone for five days. To our delight, they were so kind as to upgrade us to VIP level on 21st floor! Much bigger room with the view of Mt. Fuji!! Not only you need the height, but your window must face the right direction, clarity in air around the mountain, well, it was a biggest treat unexpected. Departure on limousine bus was as smooth as can be, with staff assistance with bags from room to the curb. This is a great hotel in great location. Short walk to imperial palace, Tokyo Dome and other place of interests. Very close to subway and JR stations. The limousine buses to and from both Narita and Haneda Airports come right to the door, very convenient. I recommend Hotel Grand Palace, a great place to stay in Tokyo.

Feeling at home in the Grand Palace
Upon arriving , it was easy at the airport to find the correct multi-hotel bus which delivered us to the door at The Grand Hotel after 1 1/2 hours. The reception was welcoming and the room comfortable. The location for us was perfect being right by the palace gardens and a two minute walk to the station connecting to all the areas we wanted to see. Although a large hotel with groups and businessmen, and restaurants, we preferred to take our meals in the surrounding areas. It was our home while in Tokyo and was just right. When we left to get our rental car, that too was right down the street so for what wanted it was perfect!
