Hotel Grand Palace, Tokyo
Very Good8.0
Hotel was very comfortable. Fortunately during my stay the room changed to cool air flow for the air handler in the room. Before the change the room did not cool down at all and there was no way to access outside air via the window. This was the only issue with the room.

Convenient location at a reasonable price in Tokyo
Visit Tokyo! This was a great location with easy access to the subway. It’s also close to a beautiful shrine and the Imperial Palace. The neighborhood was quieter than many sections of Tokyo, which isn’t for everyone, but I appreciated it. I could get everywhere with a train ride followed by a short walk. There is a coffee shop and a great restaurant across the street. The service throughout Tokyo is wonderful, and this hotel was no exception. People were always happy to help. The room itself was dated and the hotel restaurants were overpriced, which is pretty typical. I considered a 4-star rating, because of the dated rooms, but the good definitely outweighs the bad, here, and the price was reasonable. The rooms were clean, but the furniture was probably 30 years old (in good condition, just dated) and the bathroom hadn’t been updated. I would definitely go back!
