It is truly a paradise within a slightly larger paradise-Singapore😊! The only thing I could find even the slightest fault in was I self Parked my rental car and it was a little confusing, arriving at night, and there was no elevator had to take suitcases up a small staircase but just a minor inconvenience. Staff was top notch, the bellman went out of his way to help me with the bags the second he saw me. Front desk was very welcoming and gracious. Bellman explained features like curtain controls in the room. Superior service all around

Beautiful property in one of the nicest parts of town. Staff on all levels was particularly pleasant and engaging, especially in the Horizon lounge. A chef by the name of Carolyn was particularly helpful in preparing and explaining the food items that were unfamiliar to me in the lounge, and a host in the lounge by the name of Riza was gracious and understanding while helping me to resolve an accommodation/flight conflict I had at the time. Some days my wife and I dined at The Line, a buffet style restaurant on the lower floor that serves an incredible array of foods, many of which I was also unfamiliar with. Here again, when simply asked about the food, (in this case an area serving a variety of Indian food,) a server by the name of Mugibin (sorry if I misspelled the name-it was given to me by the restaurants supervisor Ms. Hamad,) went out of his way to explain the choices, and how they were typically served and eaten. He even had the chef prepare another dish that was not present on the line especially for me, simply because I had expressed an interest in Indian food, of which I am generally ignorant (not now!) No amount of money can buy this level of personal engagement I received during my 8 day stay. Some may say that these efforts are expected and routine-well, lucky you!, for, sadly, in my 61 years thus far on the planet, I have much more often encountered perfunctory, if not outright indifferent responses to most queries or requests the are not routine.

Spectacular service and elegant hotel. Top notch!
From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, their service was amazing. The doorman/bell hop cheerfully greeted us and took care of our bags. The front desk also cheerfully checked us in. The people who stored our bags since it was morning and our room wasn't ready, cheerfully showed us how to walk to Orchard Road. Perhaps it's just how Singapore is, but the service was excellent. The lobby is gorgeous. We loved the hanging birds above the check in and the infinity pond. Later on we walked around the waterfall and watched the koi fish. The room was excellent! Nice view, great balcony. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable, though not as nice as the mattresses on our Princess cruise, which is why I rated it a 4 instead of 5. Oh, and they also gave us complimentary bottles of water which were much appreciated!
