Nice, old and classy
Very nice older hotel. Classy spot. However, it could use some modernization. The windows in the rooms need replaced because air comes right through them.

Average at best
The lobby and restaurants were great. Make sure to go downstairs to the speakeasy for a drink. The hallway carpet leading to our room was really dirty and the room had a rip in the carpet and the bed wasn’t comfortable. Not a bad experience but I’ll look elsewhere on my next trip to pittsburgh

Not a good experience.
It's in downtown. Nearby roads are small (many of them one way) and with traffic, reaching the hotel and parking was a task. Hotel does not have it's own parking. There is a public parking garage in front of it. Garage itself looked old and under maintained. Garage elevator take you to one level below street. Then you have to take stairs. Then cross a small street, and then another stair at the entrance of the hotel. If you have light luggage, it is fine, but if you have more than a couple of bags, it's a hassle taking luggage between parking basement and hotel room.

Long unsafe walk
Quick trip with a friend. Enjoyed the hotel. Didn’t like the concierge who told us it was not a bad walk to the closet movie theater. He had no idea. Sir you need to educate yourself some more on the area. Otherwise the stay was great!!
