Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel it self is a disaster. Wait time for elevator we’re up to 10 min. Stains all the carpet, the hallways were dirty. It just seemed to be total chaos, waited an hour and 15 min for them to come to my room and get My luggage

Disappointing
Had always wanted to stay in this hotel since it opened. Hallway carpets stained and discolored. Valet Parking way too expensive at $ 55 per night when we had an email that it was $ 49 per night. Check in confusion with bellhop. First room was only on 21st floor with poor view and shower sliding door did not work. They did move us to the 34th floor and the view was much better, no walk in shower and the safe did not work. Way too slow for maintenance to come up and fix the safe that night so we canceled getting it fixed. Wait times to retrieve our car on Saturday morning was around 15 to 20 minutes. Convention going on and Valet service understaffed. Downtown Atlanta is full of homeless sleeping in doorways. No one bothered us, but shame on the Mayor and City Council for not controlling that and Westin corporate for not demanding it for their guests ease of mind. Staff was generally helpful, but some were just going through the motions. Hotels .com needs to stress that it’s members do not get the best views or rooms. Many times when we have used the service, a comment is made at check in about third party services. No comment here, but the low room was almost a punishment when this hotel advertises for the city views. Have to pay $ 10 per person to access the observation deck wheee the SunDial Restaurant is. Even if you are a guest, or each has to pay for a main item in the menu. Guests should be allowed up there for a drink with no additional charge.

Dirty bathroom, 20+ min wait for elevators
I sure hope you enjoy waiting. 20+ minutes every time I needed an elevator down. 90 minutes for my bags to be delivered to my room when I got there. I waited 2 hours for baggage assistance down at checkout until I gave up and made three trip myself. My bathroom was dirty and I ended up with 1/2” of water on the floor every time I showered. It wasn’t me as the door frame to the bathroom was rotted and black a few inches up. My “city view” included a gigantic heating/cooling unit that ran all night.

First the service desk let a man skip in front of us after my long line wait. Second but most importantly my room was by an elevator of some sort and it went up and down all night and it made a noise. I was unable to rest or sleep that night
