We decided to splurge and stay somewhere "fancy" for our anniversary, and this is where we ended up. The lobby was very nice. The room was good, but nothing spectacular vs. other places we've stayed -- not necessarily something I could justify spending the extra money for, except for the downtown location (we were on the 10th floor, but our view was of other buildings and HVAC units, not anything "Cinci beautiful"). The elevators were AWFUL!! Three elevators, and 90% of the time, only one seemed to be working. We would wait several minutes for the elevator to arrive, and then the car would be full, so we would have to wait for the next one. And they sounded terrible, too: loud pops, metal screeching, etc. They are obviously in bad shape, and we talked with several other guests who had the same complaints. We finally had to take the stairs on our check-out day, and there were several other guests in the stairwell with us, for the same reason. I mentioned this to the employee when we checked out, and she just laughed, and said, "yeah, we've been hearing a lot about that." No explanation, no apologies. Pretty disappointing.
