Great Facility & Location, But Choose Carefully
Glen Eyrie Castle is an awesome place! The castle is beautiful and the grounds are extraordinary. Keep in mind that this is an alcohol-free facility. It seems a shame not be able to enjoy a glass of wine in such a lovely setting. Also, keep in mind that the rooms in the castle do not have air conditioning. Depending on the time of year you visit, you might be uncomfortable. I suspect the lodge has better climate control, but is not as impressive as the castle.

Would give it a 6 if I could
I would give this place a 6 if I could. The location is Ed up by lovely rooms and amazing service. Note that this is a non profit religious retreat so no alcohol or smoking on site, it we never felt any pressure or exclusion at not being part of the religious retreat. Breakfast was amazing and the rest of the holiday had a lot to live up to with this being our first proper stay. Walking distance from garden of the gods.

Meh Average at best
When I booked , I thought our accommodations would be in the main castle , based on price , not an annex location referred to as a Lodge. Upon entering the room we noticed a 1/4 bathroom that is barely usable based on fixture locations (sink and shower/tub), which are essentially both jammed into a 20 sqft room with the toilet up against the shower. The beds were plenty big and the bedding was great quality but they are positioned on metal frames which make noise whenever you move . Lastly , the AC unit is 1 foot away from a bed making it loud for that sleeper as well as forced air directly on that person. The staff (Levi) were super helpful upon finding the location to the hotel. For the price - not sure I would book again only to end up in a lodge and not the main castle location .

Beautiful, but wasn’t for me…
I guess I should’ve paid attention to more of the small print when I booked this place. It was incredibly beautiful. Got to see plenty of wildlife. Breakfast was delish. But if you plan on hanging out at the bar and watching a game and then heading back to your room to have more drinks and watch the highlights, or watch a movie with the fam, this isn’t your place…

You don’t stay at the castle its misleading
The listing makes it seem like you are staying at the castle but thats not the case they put u in a lodge, but does not tell u that and when we arrived we complained to the manager and he did not care apparently this is a problem that has happens to many, mgmt doesnt care says its a problem when booking via a third party like hotels….castle and area is beautiful but misleading if you think u are staying at the castle, if u do u have to pay more and call directly.
