I was rejected being accepted as a passenger by the front desk. I called the Expedia desk to file a complaint - there was some telephone exchange between the duty persons on 17th March - I heard Expedia them talking to the Hotel staff in my presence - but it all failed. I was literally DRIVEN OUT OF THE HOTEL. Case ID 13841009 was registered and sent to me by sms. I thought Expedia wud atleast help me in getting an alternate accommodation - BUT nothing was forthcoming. I was surprised to receive an automated sms on 18 March saying that my booking is cancelled as I did not check in. Eventually I ended up staying with my Nephew in a small 2 BR apartment as he came to our rescue. Wonder what Expedia will do about this major disruption in my hotel stay. I have recommend everyone to use Expedia - now I am having second thoughts.
