The Blue Door is IT
This boutique hotel with the fabulous blue door is just a short walk away from the center of old Quebec City. We loved our stay, the roomy city view room provided a great home base for our visit, offering a kitchenette, a king bed with two nightstands, a table for two, a spacious bathroom with a rain shower, and ample storage space with an in-room safe too. Many amenities were provided as well, including an espresso machine and robes. We received a wonderful box breakfast each morning to go with our espresso. Parking is limited at this hotel but there is public parking with 24-hour access next door. Our only ding is the limited staff in the lobby. We rarely saw staff at the front desk and while a concierge was promoted, one was not seen when we were in the lobby area. When staff was at the desk, they were always helpful and addressed questions. No restaurant or bar are located at this hotel but several are very closeby.

Great location in Quebec City
Lovely hotel in a great location with very helpful staff! No parking on site, hillside location, and no restaurant (reno in the works) were challenges for us but we did know about them in advance. Their wheelchair accessible room for my son worked out very well.

This hotel was amazing! It was beautiful and had so many extras in the room, and was decorated so lovely! All of the people were so friendly at check in and throughout our stay. It made for a wonderful experience and a beautiful stay. When we return, we will definitely stay at Monsieur Jean. It provided an unequaled experience!!
