It has a full-service bar providing wines, beers, cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages for all shows.     Acacia is a Prohibition-themed bar on East Carson Street, about half a mile east of the Rex Theater. The nondescript speakeasy feature boarded-up windows and a doorway covered in newspapers – the only indication of its existence is a small logo on the door.

    Manor Theater

    Rivers Casino

    Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts

    Catch classical music in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District

    Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts has been entertaining fans of classical music and performances since 1971. The grand lobby of this French baroque-style theater has a high vaulted Venetian ceiling, ornamental columns, and a marble staircase.

    Heinz Hall can accommodate over 2,600 people, while its line-up consists around 200 performances every year. It’s also the home of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. You can find this historic concert hall in Downtown Pittsburgh, about 700 yards east of Point State Park.

    The Speakeasy

    An upscale drinking spot in the Omni William Penn Hotel

    The Speakeasy is an upscale bar hidden in the basement of the Omni William Penn Hotel, in the center of Downtown Pittsburgh. As the name suggests, it stays true to its Prohibition theme with its nondescript location, minimal signage and lack of windows. 

    Besides its noir ambience, The Speakeasy has professional and friendly mixologists fronting its bar. Expect innovative takes on highballs and gimlets, such as The Informant (Bluecoat American dry gin, Vigo Amaro, and Campari) and Death in the Evening (Wigle Absent Minded absinthe, sugar, lime juice, and Maschio prosecco).

    Cavo Night Club
