Some of the best bars, clubs and restaurants in Thonglor are within walking distance of its BTS Skytrain Station (Thong Lo), making it one of Bangkok’s most popular entertainment streets. These dining and nightlife spots offer practically any regional cuisine and booze you can think of.

Thonglor often attracts ultra-fashionable and affluent Thais, but many foreigners also enjoy its vibrant scene. You can also find many exciting ventures along the nearby street of Ekkamai (Soi 63). Bangkok’s trendiest dining concepts and music trends often land in Thonglor before anywhere else, so if you want to experience a pulsing nightlife scene, this is the place to do it. Below is a list of all the best places to go in Thonglor.

    Brew Beers and Ciders

Brew Beers and Ciders, as the name suggests, stocks a large collection of local and imported beers, ciders and ales. It’s the place to go if you’re tired of the predictable Chang, Singha and Tiger, which you’ll find at just about every bar and nightclub in Bangkok. You’ll find an unbelievable range of draft and bottled beers from microbreweries around the world – it’s pretty much guaranteed that you can enjoy the most bespoke of tipples. Ekkamai Shopping Mall is on the ground floor of Seenspace, an outdoor community mall on Thonglor Soi 13.

    Studio Lam

Studio Lam stands up against Bangkok’s mainstream nightlife scene in pretty much every way possible – think old school turntables instead of CDs, herb-infused moonshine instead of Gray Goose, and niche World Music (with a focus on vintage Thai folk music). Seating is sparse, though you’ll find outside benches for the crowd to spill onto when things get busy (usually late weekends). The DJs or live bands playing at Studio Lam are so eclectic, you could get anything from African percussion to Indian vocal choirs.

Beam is a techno nightclub on the 1st floor of 72 Courtyard. With high-tech speakers under the dancefloor and weekly international DJ sets, the music style you’re most likely to hear is minimal and deep tech-house in the bare, dark main room that’s more reminiscent of European dance clubs. Downstairs, you’ll find a hip-hop room, which has a great atmosphere, while the upstairs main room literally shakes thanks to speakers under the dancefloor. International DJs from as far as Berlin and Tokyo often perform weekly.
