    Drake Circus

    Drake Circus is a covered shopping mall that has just about anything you could want. It's located in the center of Plymouth, built among the ruins of Charles Church. 

    Here, you can find more than 70 shops that include familiar brands like the Apple Store, Billabong, Accessorize and Boots Pharmacy. The 425,000-sq-ft mall is home to numerous cafes and restaurants, as well as a movie theater with multiple screens for you to catch a movie in between your shopping.

    Plymouth city centre is a massive shopping area with plenty of retailers and national brands. The fully pedestrianized boulevard provides everything you need to explore on foot without having to rely on public transportation. The layout consists of shopping districts, malls, and markets to ensure you can easily find what you need, as well as sections for restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues. 

    One of the highlights of the city centre is the Barbican’s Historic Quarter, where you can shop for unique art pieces at specialty stores and vintage boutiques.

    Royal William Yard

    A shopping and entertainment hub in Stonehouse

    Royal William Yard is a hub of shopping, relaxation and activities in the city. It’s home to many restaurants, bars, galleries and shops, including boutiques for bespoke gifts and limited-edition fashion from top designers. You can find just about anything you want here, from jewelry to electronics. 

    Notable boutiques include Identity Fashion, Martin Bush Fine Art and Ocean Studios, where you can pick up works from local artists and makers. After shopping, stop in Steel Brew Co, where you can try a variety of microbrews and distilled gins.

    The Barbican

    Find quirky gift shops on and around Plymouth's waterfront

    The Barbican is a historic waterfront area in Plymouth that's home to an array of independent shops and galleries. It's also where you can explore attractions such as the Plymouth Gin Distillery and the National Marine Aquarium.

    Shopping-wise, Barbican is a great place to shop for paintings, sculpture, clay art, jewelry and other handicrafts that make unique gifts and mementoes to bring home.     Plymouth Market

    Great for foodies looking to sample artisan meals

    The Plymouth Market is a thriving market on Cornwall Street, around a 5-minute walk of Theater Royal Plymouth. It has over 150 stalls selling artisan food products, fresh produce, meats and other foods, as well as fresh-made meals like sourdough pizza. 

    You can also find crystals, florists, auction antiques, souvenirs, fabrics, clay art, automobile parts, pop culture treasures, and fishing gear – basically just about anything you can think of. If you’re planning a trip to the Plymouth Market, be sure to arrive early to get top picks and leave a lot of time to peruse all the stalls.

    West End

    Sutton Harbor is a must-visit on its own, thanks to its charming waterfront area, fishing vessels and yachts, but it’s also a top shopping destination. You can find plenty of shops, boutiques, entertainment venues, cafes, restaurants and tour operators for water sports.

    Primark Plymouth is a discount clothing store in Drake Circus that offers affordable fashion. It offers women’s, men’s and children’s fashion, accessories, homewares, lingerie and beauty products. You can also get footwear, nightwear, luggage, travel accessories and confectionery products.
