"The staff at this property were extremely welcoming and I really appreciated that. With only a couple of hours notice they showed up at the airport to meet me and took me to hotel. On the map it appears close to the center of Tarapoto, but it's down the hill across the river in another town called Banda del Shilcayo. It's not far only 10 minutes by Mototaxi, but the hotel is located on a dirt road and difficult for taxistas to find. My Moto taxi drivers had to ask people in the area for help...
