Enotel Lido – All Inclusive
"Great food options (buffet unusually trumps the a la carte restaurant), friendly staff and great location with a fantastic outdoor and indoor pool. Housekeeping a bit inconsistent and bathrooms look/feel dated and not 5* standards, but minor gripes overall."
Barcelo Funchal Oldtown
"Would stay here again. Breakfast amazing. Location amazing. Clean rooms."
Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel
"Loved the pool area and access to ocean fantastic"
The Editory Garden Carmo Funchal
"It’s great"
The Cliff Bay, by PortoBay
"Fantastic hotel and stay. All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I was even surprised with a cake on my birthday :). The hotel bars and breakfast were all great. There are many restaurants within walking distance and there are also several restaurants at the hotel although I did not visit those. The pools are very nice, the ocean access is great for an island with few beaches, and the ocean views are lovely. There is music every night at the bar and plenty to do at the hotel! The room itself was very clean and refreshed frequently. This is a 5 star hotel for a reason"
Vila Baleira Residence
"Had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the room and property was extremely clean and the location was conveniently close to major attractions."
The Vine
"Buena localización. Fue una buena experiencia."
Pestana Casino Park Ocean and SPA Hotel
"Good basic 4 star hotel, as a base with a pool and breakfast it was fine for us. As long as a little tired decor doesn’t trigger you you’ll be great. Location is fantastic with a small park next door, shopping centre 5mins walk away and dozens of bars and restaurants nearby."
