6/10 Good

Better Than Park Tower Inn hotel

They did not have continental breakfast as stated on their advertisement. They only provided pop tarts and coffee. Hotel room was clean and comfy. It wasn't a 5 star hotel but was liveable for a couple nights stay. Staff was nice.

Cheap hotel room

Staff was friendly. Room wasn’t in good shape. Outlet covers missing, tv not mounted even though it had the place on the wall for it. Tub cracked and uneven.

Great location but the property needs work

The hotel needs quite a bit of updating to feel comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful but the property is in rough shape. The location is well suited for trips in and around Pigeon Forge.

We had a hard time finding a parking. Cleanliness is below average. Good & supportive staff. One of the rooms was very dirty. We showed the condition to the staff & they agreed to change it.

It's ok. No frills. It's right on the Parkway and very convenient to food, fun, and the mountains. I would stay again.

Rooms were very dirty. Toilet in one bathroom didn't work. Spiders were everywhere. Had to go buy spray to kill them.oy 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms and the room was a suite that slept 10 people and there were 8 of us. It was a good location and easy to get in and out if

Extremely Rude People! And the motel charged a $225 deposit! We just needed a room somewhere and went with this one because it looked nice. They treated us with total disrespect!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last place on earth! Online pictures looked nice, but the place turned out to be a total trash pit!

Cheap, and it shows. Okay to sleep?

Facility is old and feels dated. Rooms were updated in recent years. Mattress had no support. Felt the bar in the supports underneath. Pillows are poor quality too. Bathroom wasn't dirty but felt old and dirty. Vinyl/laminate flooring felt wet from humid surroundings.

Do not book

The room was not clean. The heat was on when we arrived in the room (keep in mind, it’s summer). The floor was dirty. There was no washcloths even at the front desk. The beds were uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

Location is great, close to a lot of attractions. Although I did find multiple bed bugs on the mattresses. When I tried to report it to the front desk she was stating, I was mistaken it for a tick and refused to give me a refund.

The lights of the bathroom were dead, there was no coffee/tea maker. Beside the little details it was okay for a quick one night sleep. Staff was fast and nice.

Wouldnt let a sewer rat stay here!

Pictures says it all. I was looking for a budget friendly room and i was amazed at the price, how ever i would have had more comfort and cleanliness at the county jail. Went straight to the office after the first night to tell them the fridge flooded my room and ruined all my food, i also understand all the beds are the same but the room i was put in the beds was worse then laying on a box spring. I got laughed at n put in another room. The staff lives on site and partied til late in the night both nights i was there. Talked to customer support at hotels.com to let them know what type of business they are promoting. Hotels.com did a wonderful job helpung me out but what that hotel did after is crazy. They had a abandoned car full to the max in the parking lot. While i was taking my stuff to the car the owner was outside with the owner of said car and said ya thats her that complained go say something to her. I simply said come near me and i will mase u period. That could have been a very dangerous situation. Claimed to go breakfast and open pool til Oct 1st. Pool was green n had trash floating in it with no breakfast of any kind. There isnt even a phone to use in an emergency.

I, like some other people, booked this location based on the website pictures. Those pictures in no way are a true depiction of this property I'm sure were those pictures came from. The desk clerk was friendly, she asked if we would like a first floor or third floor room, we were given a room on the first floor. This room had terrible smell and bugs. I returned to the desk told the clerk she gave us a room on the third floor, this room was better, looked as through the beds were new, and no smell or bugs. The only amenity was the pool which was not very impressive. There are no phones in the rooms at least not ours. The bathtub looked dirty and the water dripped none stop. Not much positive I can say about this property but it was close to whatever we wanted to do. I would stay clear of this place .

How this place stays in business is a mystery to me. Where to begin…. We had 2 rooms. Odor was overwhelming, dirty mattresses and other debris everywhere. Dirt has collected in the corners for who knows how long. No clothes hangers anywhere. I did not get any soap or shampoo, while my friend did. Towels were paper thin. Lighting outside was inadequate. Oh, and the ‘light breakfast’? Coffee and a protein bar. Customer service was challenging. We checked out early (couldn’t stay there as long as we’d planned). We finally got the refund we were promised, but only after fighting for it. Days Inn? Never again. I made the mistake of using Expedia, and dealing with them via email and text was the worst. Expedia? Never again. Ever…

Honest opinion

The room did not have a table light or alarm clock, it appeared yo be recently remodeled but the holes in the night srand did not align with outlet. The shower had issues of its own. They did not put washcloths in the room we had to ask and then wait for some to be laundered. Upon check in and out the dssk personnel were more worried about talking on cell phones. However, the location is convenient to attractions.

Cheap, but service unreliable

Using a basic search, this was the least expensive chain hotel location in the general Gatlinburg area. We stayed at this hotel for a week starting on the night of December 24. The room lacked clean towels after checking in, but I was able to get them from the front desk. The room smelled good (i.e., no smells from smoke). The main service problem was that the reception area wasn't able to provide any coffee reliably after the main coffeemaker apparently died on December 25 and that there was no maid service any time for our room during the seven night stay that we had. Part of this was inevitably because it was during the Christmas holiday; the hotel was probably only about 5% or 10% occupied on the nights of the 24th and 25th, so many employees apparently had the time off. This was still a good value for the price that we paid.

The only thing We liked about this property is the shopping locations and restaurants that were nearby. As far as what we didn't like was that there was never anyone in the office ever. We couldn't get any towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo. We had to buy our own essentials. There were no cleaning people to be found anywhere to ask them either. Every time we would go to the office there was a note stating if we needed assistance to call the number, yet no one ever answered, and the mailbox was always full, and you can't leave messages. why have the note posted. When we left, we couldn't even leave the key in the office because there was no one there and it was closed. When we reserved this hotel, it a stated there was continental breakfast and there was none. My husband has MS, and we were given a room on the third floor. At one point the elevator was not working and there was no way to contact anyone. I'm really amazed that Wyndham would let a hotel like this to be a part of their chain.

Decent for one night

Checking in was okay. The attendant was lounging in a chair beside the desk ready to lock up when we arrived. No big deal. Check in was fine. No details to the room, wifi access or anything about breakfast but its fine. Got yo the room, torn up couch so we just used it to sit our stuff on. Lots if room and it was clean. We have a 2 bedroom suite. The ac/heater isnt working in one of the rooms. I UNPLUGGED IT AND PKUGGED IT BACK IN TO RESET IT CAUSE IT WOULDNT POWER ON AND IT SHOT OUT FIRE. kinda scary. We just left ug alone. I did ask for a remote for that room but no one brought one. Only here for one night but wouldnt stay again. Beds are comforrable and clean. The balcony would be nice but theres alot of trash on the ground and its not very dun to look at so not gonna enjoy that. It definately is a cheap room for a reason but is close to dollywood and convenient. The kids did love the jacuzzi tub in the room. 4 beds are nice and 2 bathrooms work great with 6 of us.

Days Inn South, Pigeon Forge ⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ll start by saying that check-in was the only bright spot of my stay. The receptionist was friendly, and I had high hopes as I made my way to the room. However, things quickly spiraled downhill. First impression? Leaves. Everywhere. The parking lot and drifted walls under the AC units looked like the aftermath of a leaf tornado. It’s fall—understandable? No, It’s late December! along with the un-swept area away from the office.Inside the room, it appeared clean at first glance, but then I noticed the beds. No blankets on top, just tucked under the sheets. Why? To conceal cigarette burn holes! Cozy. A conference and meeting center with No ice and only one bar Wi-Fi.Then came the saga of the missing TV remote. I was told one would arrive “shortly.” Three hours and three requests later, I finally received it, only to discover that using the TV required me to provide my email and credit card details. Seriously? After explaining this to the front desk, they assured me someone would come to reset the device. No one ever came.Day two brought the same issue, a new person at the desk, the same promise, and still no help.Their reasoning? “It was a busy day” as she walked off with her clipboard. The last night, a LARGE group of non-English speaking guests located at the end of the unit decided to turn the parking lot into a club, complete with two bass-bumping trucks. Sleep came later when the blue lights arrived. Where was the management.

Terrible

The most nasty room I have ever seen. The room was not even cleaned when we complained they offered us another room that wasn't cleaned either. We left because they would not honor their end of the deal to offer a clean and ready room and they took our money. You should avoid this place!
