Hard Rock Stadium Introduction

Formerly known as the Sun Life Stadium, the Hard Rock Stadium is the present home of the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. It also serves the University of Miami’s football team, the Miami Hurricanes. In addition, the Orange Bowl is held here annually, and many Super Bowls and World Series championships have taken place here in the past. Through the years it’s gone through many name changes. Despite its strong ties to sport, it also has a connection with the film industry: many major movies have shot scenes here, including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Marley and Me.
