American Airlines Center Introduction

Built in the former Dallas neighborhood of Little Mexico, the American Airlines Center (AAC) is the home of the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association, and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League. Built in 2001, the 20,000 capacity multi-purpose arena is also used for music concerts, with its packed schedule making it the 5th busiest arena in the U.S. and 10th busiest in the world in 2015. Outside the arena, there are two popular zones for sports fans and gatherings: the Victory Plaza and the Woodall Rodgers Plaza.
