"The Agora place is a no frills but relaxed hotel. There are amenities on the ground floor that are all you need. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a large supermarket very close. The hotel is close to the Nijo castle and Imperial palace and an easy walk to bus stops and metro station with direct access to Kyoto station. My room was quiet but the hotel is situated on a busy noisy road."

"This is a B and B (no breakfast) located in an interesting area in Kyoto, Saiin. The town is packed with bars and restaurants and local people looked a little rough compared to other areas in Kyoto, but we stayed safe with no safety or noise issue nonetheless. Saiin is a Hankyu and Randen station and is very convenient to go to Kawaramachi, Arashiyama, and Osaka without changing trains. We also had a day trip to Kobe for Kobe beef during our stay. A big supermarket (Aeon Mall) is in a walking...

"The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This place was really a quaint apartment. Has everything to cook for yourself plus a washing machine for clothes. Close to train and subway stations. Also a food co-op with the cheapest prices in Japan"

"とても雰囲気があってオシャレで良かったです。おうちの前が石畳の道なのも風情があります。 トイレが２つありましたし、二階建てでベッドルームと居間がそれぞれ別なので寛げました。トイレと脱衣場も畳でした。 3、4人や家族での旅行に大変おすすめです。簡易的な流しやレンジ、お皿、ドリップコーヒーもありがたいです。同じ系列の町家が市内にまだ沢山あるみたいなので次回はそちらに泊まってみたいです。 "
