Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex Introduction

The home of America’s largest indoor agricultural event, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center is set on a 60-acre site - 24 acres of which are indoors. Within the complex are 3 arenas and 11 halls. The main event is the state show, now known as the Pennsylvania Farm Show, which was first held in 1917. The complex also hosts The Great American Outdoor Show, as well as a major auto show and a horse show. The venue is located 3.2 miles northwest of The National Civil War Museum, and 2 miles north of Capitol Park.

Within a 4-mile radius there’s a good selection of hotels, many geared towards the budget end of the market. There’s one informal all-suite hotel within walking distance of the complex, which has an indoor pool and free breakfast. Most hotels in the area also offer free breakfast and Wi-Fi, and many have a pool. For a more luxurious stay, there's a modern hotel with restaurants connected to the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts.
