A multi-purpose arena on the southern edge of Downtown Seattle, CenturyLink Field is the home stadium of the Seattle Seahawks NFL team and Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders. Opened in 2002, the stadium can seat up to 72,000 guests, and regularly hosts special events, as well as concerts by some of the world's most famous recording artists. Adjacent to WaMu Theater and across from Safeco Field professional baseball stadium, CenturyLink Field offers sweeping views of the Seattle skyline and Elliott Bay. Stadium tours are offered on weekends from October through May, and every day June through September.
