MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre Introduction

Located on the Florida State Fairgrounds, the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is the largest concert-only facility in the Tampa Bay Area. Opened in 2004, the venue holds approximately 20,000 people, half of whom can be accommodated under cover. A diverse roll-call of music acts have performed at the amphitheater, and it has held regular music festivals. The State Fairgrounds cover over 355 acres and are best known for hosting the annual Florida State Fair. They are also the setting for an equestrian center and Cracker Country, a rural Florida living history museum.
