"Pleasant, economical hotel with a very basic breakfast and a nice pool This area of Ann Arbor is very car-centric, but this hotel is well-situated for the pedestrian. There is a safe, though unmarked, place to cross State Street toward Briarwood Mall and Red Robin restaurant about a block north and bus stops for the lines headed to Central Campus or Ypsilanti as well. There are several restaurants within walking distance and downtown Ann Arbor is 15-20 minutes away on the bus."

"The Kensington is a nice hotel in a great part of Ann Arbor. Location-wise, you are close to the stadium and within walking distance of Briarwood Mall with restaurants, shopping, and a grocery market. There is also a nice restaurant and bar in the hotel. The lobby and ground floor have nice sitting areas for meeting up or working. Parking and shuttle service to downtown Ann Arbor are also nearby. The rooms are pretty up-to-date—the bathrooms could use a slight update (things were a bit worn)....

"Very economical choice, with kitchenettes, but housekeeping more than once in two weeks is a charge. The staff are efficient and accommodating and they will swap you clean towels and linens. They have kits of kitchen stuff like plates or utensils available. There is a frequent bus to Downtown and Central Campus, a six-minute walk away at “The Ride” bus stop in the Briarwood Mall parking lot. You can pay for a $3 day pass on your phone and just show the bus driver. Much easier "
