Spread over 364 acres, the park is 3.7 miles from the city of Mason and 23 miles north of Cincinnati. For a relaxing day out, you could visit Corwin M. Nixon Park 2 miles away in Mason, where you can go fishing and wander through the arboretum. Less than 2 miles from Kings Island is the Beach Waterpark, if you want yet more fun in the water. Art-lovers may make their way to the Cincinnati Art Museum, 22.5 miles south of Kings Island. Its collection of 60,000 works of art is housed in an impressive 19th-century building. While you're in the city, you could visit Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, the second-oldest zoo in the United States.

How to get to Kings Island

The best way to get to Kings Island is by car. It's just off the I-71, and there's a large amount of parking available on site. Cincinnati's extensive bus network includes a bus that will take you to within a 7-minute walk of Kings Island. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is 36 miles away, just across the Ohio River in neighboring Kentucky. Buses from the airport can take you to Kings Island. Amtrak trains also run to Cincinnati, and from there you can take 2 buses to get to the amusement park.
