The main city of Jeju is located just 6 kilometers from the airport. Hallasan National Park, to the south, is prime hiking territory, where you’ll climb ancient volcanoes and explore lava tubes. There are several hotels nearby for a more rustic stay.

How to get to Jeju (CJU-Jeju Intl.)

If you’re coming from outside southeast Asia, the easiest way to get to Jeju Airport is to connect in Seoul, either at Incheon or Gimpo, which both have frequent flights here. Jeju has a comprehensive bus network to the main towns, but you’ll need a hire car to explore off the beaten track. It’s about 20 minutes to central Jeju, and about an hour to Hallasan National Park.
