"We had an absolutely incredible stay at Highland House. Having their sister Highlander Hotel just down the block was super convenient for wine and snacks and coffee. The Highland House location is very convenient to the train, many canals tours and many key sight seeing locations. Adnan, Concierge, was one of the most genuinely friendly people we met on our vacation. Friendly staff at front desk always, incredibly comfortable single beds in a 3-person room. The one thing I will say: shut your toilet lid before flushing, the bowls are SHALLOW!"

"The price is worth every dime. The location in old city is close to all the museums, fun restaurants and a great quite neighborhood. Very charming outdoor space, beautiful bar and restaurant. Hotel staff beyond help full with things to do, restaurant recommendations and reservations. Our room was spacious, super comfortable and the bath was large and very spa like with the double rain shower/ hand held, tile, mirror lighting (a huge plus) and super large freestanding soaking tub."

"Perfect location near the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as metros and great restaurants. We could walk anywhere we wanted to go in 30 minutes or less. Spacious, comfortable room and lovely staff. The breakfast was worth the add on, everything was delicious and made starting our day easy."

No hairdryer in the room but you an ask for on at the front desk. Staff were amazing; and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. We would stay here again."
