Formerly known as Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, the venue was built by Disney in 1997, who spent $100 million transforming the former wetlands. The complex opened with an exhibition baseball game between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds. It has since been the home of the Harlem Globetrotters, the NFL Experience, and the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships.
