How to get to Sapporo (OKD-Okadama)

Hokkaido Air System provides year-round connections to Hakodate, Kushiro, Memanbetsu, Misawa, Rishiri. If you’re coming from further afield than Hokkaido though, New Chitose Airport (situated around 45 kilometers away from Sapporo) offers a better-linked gateway. If you’re landing at Sapporo Okadama however, the city’s core is just a 7.5 kilometer journey away. Plenty of buses operate between the airport and various points around the city, including subway stations, whilst taxis provide a more hassle free alternative. Conveniently, some hotels also provide their own airport transfers.
