"Great room, staff were very helpful. Only problem was the floor in the room was very squeaky. Every time you walked to the bathroom it was just awful, especially in the middle of the night. No instructions on how to work the jetted tub, but we figured it out by trial and error, lol. Very quiet. Bathroom floor was a bit slippery, so just put a towel down to prevent falls. Food was good. Lidl in town has great prices on their wine, we’re wine drinkers and wine at hotels can get expensive. Definitely would recommend this place. The religious artifacts were magnificent."

"This property is a wonderful old building in the heart of the old city. The breakfast was fantastic. Way more than a continental breakfast! The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are driving you should know that free parking is available just outside the city wall and about a 10 min walk away. We loved staying there."

"It is a beautiful property. However, if you are not staying here with small children you may be disappointed. The hotel clearly markets itself as very child and family friendly, and it has dedicated children’s areas that are very close to main areas such as the dining room. As a result it is not peaceful in many areas of the property. Even dedicated adult swimming pool hours in the spa are not respected by guests with their children. And the dining room at dinner was not at all peaceful. They should work toward separating the noise from main areas, as they have plenty of space. Also, one should avoid Room 207 as it is adjacent to the housekeeping staging area and one can hear noises of the linen carts throughout the day. "
