Epcot® Introduction

Since 1982, Epcot® has been celebrating human achievement and international culture in its vast home in Bay Lake, Florida. This popular theme park is part of the Walt Disney World Resort, and was the second to be built after the Magic Kingdom. You can't miss the park's symbol, Spaceship Earth, a giant sphere that whisks you on a time-traveling ride through millions of years of history – and even into the future. The World Showcase takes you around the world as you discover the pavilions that represent 11 countries. No wonder they call it the permanent World's Fair.

If you want to find a hotel bargain – and avoid the summertime crowds, high prices, and intense heat – consider visiting from January to April. September and October are equally pleasant times to come.
