Hotels in Phoenix near Chase Field

Chase Field Introduction

Located in Downtown Phoenix, Chase Field is home to the Phoenix Diamondbacks Major League Baseball team. It opened in 1998 when the baseball league expanded. Chase Field was the first baseball park in the United States to have a retractable roof over a grass field. It's a much-needed protection against the intense heat you get in Phoenix during the summer months. The stadium holds more than 48,000 people, and hosts other sporting events including basketball, football, and soccer games. One of its more unusual aspects is the swimming pool available to guests renting a right-field suite.
