How to get to Crete Island
Crete has three airports that you can fly to from mainland Europe. Heraklion International Airport is the main airport, located near the center of the island. You can fly from Athens to these airports all year round, but during the high season period between April and November you can get flights from any major European city—making it even easier to reach from North America.
