The best way to travel to Six Flags Magic Mountain is by car, and there's plenty of parking at the park. It's about a 35-minute drive from Hollywood, and about 40 minutes from San Diego. There's also a free trolley service that goes to Six Flags from Santa Clarita. This also stops at certain hotels. It has a limited service, though, from around the middle of May to early September. If you're traveling by public transport from Los Angeles, it will take about 2 hours by train and bus to get to Six Flags.
