Disneyland® Introduction

One of the most famous theme parks in the world, Disneyland® Park in Anaheim, California was the only theme park built under the supervision of Walt Disney. Opened in 1955, it has expanded ten-fold over the years with the addition of New Orleans Square, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown. The park now incorporates Disney California Adventure Park, a Disney and Pixar collaboration which opened in 2001. Other attractions in Anaheim include the Angel Stadium of Anaheim, home of the Los Angeles Angels baseball team, and the Honda Center, the Anaheim Ducks hockey stadium, both within 4 miles of Disneyland®.
