Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport is based just 30 miles west of Ocean City, a tiny hassle-free airport that serves daily domestic flights to and from Charlotte International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport. Both these airports are huge hubs of international aviation - a connecting flight from Charlotte will take 1 hour 50 minutes, and a connecting flight from Philadelphia will take 45 minutes. From Salisbury, it’s easiest to rent your own car onsite and drive the 40 minutest to Ocean City. Once there, an inexpensive bus system covers much of the city and surrounding area.
