How to get to Austin
Traveling to Austin is simple enough—there is only one airport, Austin Bergstrom International, which is just 6 miles from the city center. It is served by many national airlines and some international carriers too. From here, you can take a taxi into town, but if you book in advance, you can have your own chauffeur-driven limo to whisk you into the 'Live Music Capital of the World'. Austin is three hours from Houston and Dallas, and around 90 minutes from San Antonio by car. Traveling by car is the best way to get around the city itself.
