The San Antonio Missions—a certified UNESCO World Heritage Site—date back to the 18th century. Today, they are North America’s largest concentration of Spanish colonial missions. One of the most famous missions, the Alamo, is right in the center of town and houses various paintings and weaponry in its museum. For a dose of fun, you can always head to one of the theme parks located to the north west of San Antonio. Families love meeting the animals and sea creatures at SeaWorld San Antonio Texas Theme Park, while adults and big kids can feel the adrenaline pumping on one of Six Flags Fiesta Texas’s white-knuckle rides. After a busy day at the sights, the Tower of Americas offers fine dining and stunning city vistas in its Chart House Restaurant. Once you’ve had your fill of local delicacies, you can always catch a show in the tower’s 4D theater.
