Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a sprawling 200-acre theme park that will appeal to every family member. Experience scares, screams, and thrills as you’re whirled in the air by dozens of rides such as adrenaline-inducing SkyScreamer. With excellent childcare provision, games, fireworks, and activities, Six Flags brings a smile to small faces. Northwest is also home to La Cantera golf club boasting fresh spring views and Shops of La Cantera.

West of central San Antonio, the impressive aircraft displays at the enormous Lackland Air Force Base will not disappoint aviation enthusiasts. You can also see preserved machinery, model planes, khaki uniforms, and a panoramic history of the Air Force at The Airman Heritage Museum. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, but on sunny days spread a blanket on the pristine parade ground for a perfect picnic.
