Things to see in Myrtle Beach
The beach is, of course, the prime place to be during Myrtle Beach's sunshine-filled hours, especially in the morning, when the beach is uncrowded. A leisurely stroll along the recently renewed Boardwalk, followed by a ride on Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, gives you a chance to enjoy great views over the Grand Strand. The Art Museum of Myrtle Beach has a different sort of visual feast, with its fine collection of Southern artists. As dusk falls and the ocean-front lights come on, check out a show at the highly acclaimed Carolina Opry. The Alabama Theatre is another show-time gem, noted for the quality of its musical extravaganzas. Enjoy amazing sculptures in Brookgreen Gardens’ formal landscaped areas, or to go wild looking for alligators and ospreys in the backwater creeks. And you can't come to Myrtle Beach without trying your hand on one of the many fabulous greens of the 'world capital of golf.'
